Your kitchen remodel doesn't have to be complicated or extreme to make a big impact. This featured project from www.ClickCabinets.com kept nearly the same footprint of the original kitchen so the client did not need to redo their beautiful hardwood flooring. But the impact, not only visually, but functionally is quite dramatic. Some new white shaker cabinets, fresh paint, high definition laminate countertops, cute task lighting, and colorful decorative chachkies give this dated kitchen a new life!
Check out the before and after pictures of this kitchen remodel project located in Escanaba, MI.
For this kitchen remodel, we've used StarMark Cabinetry, which is a handcrafted cabinet built in South Dakota using 3/4" plywood box construction and select hardwood face frames and doors. StarMark is a semi-custom cabinet line, but their selection of over 1 million kitchen door styles to choose from and almost limitless sizing options, would make you think they are a true custom cabinet manufacturer. With StarMark Cabinetry, things like full extension, dovetail drawers with quite close glides come standard - no upgrades needed here!

And the beautiful catalyzed tinted varnish finish (think oven cured thick stain - way more than a typical painted cabinet) will last a lifetime. In fact, I've been selling StarMark cabinetry for 16 years now, and I could probably count on my fingers how many warranty claims I've had in that time. These things are built like a rock!! This client chose the clean look of a slight off white shaker cabinets - the Macadamia on the Bridgeport door in maple to be exact. Accented by cherry floating shelves with a stunning gray stain called Slate and even added a chocolate glaze.
(Pictured here is the Bridgeport Door in Maple Caramel)
If you haven't looked a laminate in a while because all you think of is your parents old worn out counterop when you were a kid or your beat up boring looking countertop from your first apartment - it deserves a second look! The new High Definition products are changing the game. They have depth and dimension that rivals granite, but for a fraction of the price (literally, like 1/8th or maybe 1/10th).
For the countertops in this kitchen remodel, the client selected the Crema Mascarello by Formica with the Radiance Finish which compliments the cabinet selections and existing wood flooring perfectly!

And the best part of this kitchen remodel - my personal favorite - a very happy client! This project actually took place a couple years back and to know that to this day they love their kitchen is the best reward for a job well done!
As always, thank you to all of our lovely clients who make it possible for us to have such awesome jobs! If you know someone, near or far, large budget or small, looking to remodel their kitchen, we'd love to help make their kitchen dreams come true!
Much Love,
